I did this Aspergers Guide ages ago and really have only just discovered it. It explains simple techiques that Aspergers people can use in order to succeed or at least get past that first date. Aspergers is related to Autism and thus people with it can find it very difficult socially. Further more people with it often say that they can?t seem to get a girl or get a date.. Well dating is hard for an aspie I will not deny it. Most girls like a man to be in control, make eye contact and be confident. These things are alien to anyone with Aspergers.

That sounds really fun actually. Having an entire family made up out of aspies. I don?t have? ?friends? per se but when my brother is here we act like we?re the same person, we make jokes that would make us forcibly put in mental institutions if we made them in public and we just enjoy the company. I?ve never had that with a ?normal? person.

I like you! =( There should be more men like you out there.
But personally I think relationships are depressing. Although I do have lots of crushes, they?ve all been taken away in some way. One started taking drugs and smoking, and I DETEST that, and the rest got taken, or don?t like me much because I?m too weird.
I?ve heard? too many love stories, and they always have one message: love will always disappoint you in the end.
Guys as friends are the best thing. =)

Relationship-wise, I act quite distant. I prefer to be friends with a guy+benefits but this invariably does not go so smoothly. I do not like holding hands, hugging, being cuddly nor do I coddle them- which many expect! I do not like disruptions to my plans and they?re turned off by this. Too bad for them cos I?m not that flexible. More importantly, I? feel as if I?ve never been in love and cannot relate with my friends in this way- it bothers me. I often wonder what exactly to tell guys.

I haven?t had a girlfriend since I was 15, I am now.. so I?m not sure how suitable my advice would be but I have had quite a few relationships, perhaps if you go for a certain style.. like maybe not gangsta style but goth style, emo style, muscle man style, blues style, musician style.. I think they?re attracted to a certain look aswell as? the person. As people with aspergers, we dress rather dull and are paranoid about how we talk.

well. guys usually are terrified. totally scared of me, intimidated? continue the list as you wish. approaching either way ain?t work.

The best treatment I can recommend is simply getting out there and start with small things like buying a paper from the shop and looking at them in the eyes when you purchase it. THe next step is next time you are waiting to get a bus just ask someone if they know the time most? may start a conversation, especially if they are old. Don?t go looking to talk about world events, start with something simple. Test the water. Thats how i had to start off and I got no help.

Oh, I found this video via searching for ?asperger sucks?. It does! It only makes things more complicated aside some strong talents you can have ,which I got plenty of, but this is not worth it?? maybe some day everything will work out and I will get to use my talents, who knows.

I?m not officially being diagnosed with asperger?s, but everything makes me think i will. Love doesn?t work for me, I tried everything and I?m simply too sensitive. I?m not shy, I?ve got a lot of willpower but that only brings me into situations I can?t? handle and I get traumatized very easily.

I?ve put the boyfriend issue on hold (I?ve got asbergers AND am a girl:P) Given that I was recently diagnosed(this very year) and am still trying to figure out how it affects me? a relationship would just use more of? my resources than I can spare right now.
