From 7 to 9 p.m. on October 13th, a group called Project Self-Sufficiency will provide a free seminar about expunging prior criminal records.
The seminar will provide information on the process for expungement.? If you are eligible to expunge a past crime from your record, it will officially erase that record and can have many positive effects on that individual?s life.
Although the seminar is free and open to the public, anyone wishing to attend must register in advance.? It will be located on the Project Self-Sufficiency campus in Newton, New Jersey.
Project Self-Sufficiency is a non-profit organization that helps low-income families within the state achieve economic self-sufficiency.? An attorney named Carmen Liuzza will discuss the expungement process.
On October 20th, the organization will hold a free seminar on bankruptcy issues, which will help participants become more aware of the steps taken in filing for bankruptcy, as well as other options available to those in debt.
