I had the great good fortune this weekend to meet Anne Jefferson and Chris Rowan at last. It was quite the adventure! Check it out at En Tequila Es Verdad ? it?s fantastic enough with three amazing geologists (with me as chauffeur), but the yellowjacket attack makes it that much more exciting. Fieldwork day is a very dangerous day?
This should whet your appetite for what?s to come when, in a bit, I get to the McKenzie River and all of the extraordinary geology to be found along there. And if you?re in the Corvallis, Oregon area, don?t forget to check out McDowell Creek County Park and it?s magnificent waterfalls. Enjoy!
